OUR PRACTICE
For those of you who don’t already know me, I am Dr. Barbara Smith. I am the owner and sole veterinarian at House Call Veterinary Services (HCVS). I received my veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. I started HCVS 25½ years ago when I saw the need for dogs and cats to receive quality care in their own homes. I was the first veterinarian to start this kind of practice in the Pittsburgh area!

I have one awesome employee, “T.R.” (stands for Thomas Regis…. everybody asks) who has been with me about 20 years. He is my veterinary technician, office manager, receptionist, pharmacy assistant, guru of great ideas and all around “right-hand-man”.
